Maryland outfit Clutch left New York City fans at Terminal 5 thoroughly rocked this past week, playing an energized show with support from The Sword and Lionize.

It’s no wonder why Clutch fans are so dedicated. Frontman Neil Fallon’s charm and charisma onstage is undeniable and completely infectious, drawing listeners in throughout their set. The band’s performance started off with their new album’s crushing title track ‘Earth Rocker’ as well as other fresh tunes like ‘D.C. Sound Attack!,’ ‘Oh Isabell,’ ‘Cyborg Bette’ and the bluesier ‘Gone Cold,’ giving audiences an extensive taste of their latest gem of a disc.

The band also performed the standout ‘The Mob Goes Wild,’ as well as other favorites like ‘The Yeti,’ ‘Funk Jam,’ ‘One Eye Dollar’ and ‘Electric Worry,’ much to the delight of those in attendance.

The Sword, hailing from Austin, Texas, performed a groovy set as they played tracks such as last year's blistering favorite ‘Veil of Isis,’ the hard-hitting 'Tres Brujas,’ the chugging anthem ‘Freya’ and the powerful ‘Apocryphon’ among others.  Lionize got the party started with a solid set as the show's opener, and make it worthwhile to turn out early.
