Looks like Corey Taylor let off some steam last weekend by performing another gig billed as Corey Taylor & Friends, this time tossing a classic Guns N' Roses cover in the mix. Below, watch his take on GN'R's "It's So Easy" and wait for him to hit the high notes toward the end of the song.

It went down Sunday (April 14) at Green Bay Distillery in Wisconsin. There, the Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist and his band served up a live version of the 1987 Appetite For Destruction single, as reported by the NME.

"It's So Easy" was the very first single culled from that Guns N' Roses debut, issued just a few days ahead of the album's release in June 1987. Certainly, the landmark rock album made an impression on Taylor.

But that's not all. Taylor and crew also got a rendition of Van Halen's 1984 jam "Hot for Teacher" simmering onstage at the solo Wisconsin performance. Below, take a look at some crowd-shot footage of that moment, as well.

Taylor, of course, is prepping the upcoming sixth Slipknot album when he's not busy setting off solo gigs. Due. Aug 9, the anticipated effort will come alongside a huge tour from the band. See all the dates after the video.
