Corey Taylor may be a well-established name in the rock world, but there's an awful lot of competition for attention this coming week at Austin's South by Southwest music conference. As such, Taylor is turning to the Stone Sour street team for support during the major music week.

In a posting at the Stone Sour website, it's revealed that the rocker will be in Austin March 14 and 15 and that help is needed spreading the good word about the upcoming 'House of Gold & Bones, Part 2' album and the coinciding 'House of Gold & Bones' comic. There is currently a form at the website where fans that will be in Austin for South by Southwest can submit their information and receive details on how they can promote both projects.

All confirmed participants will get a sweet prize for their actions, as Taylor himself will autograph copies of the 'House of Gold & Bones, Issue #1' comic book from Dark Horse Comics as a reward. For those who will be in Austin and wish to participate, visit the Stone Sour site here to fill in your details.

Taylor recently debuted some of the artwork from the upcoming 'House of Gold & Bones' comics here at Loudwire. The first issue in the series will arrive April 17 and it's available for pre-order here. The 'House of Gold & Bones, Part 2' album drops April 9, and the pre-order link for the disc can be found here.

The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman will be in Austin to host a discussion titled 'What the Hell Was That?!: Corey Taylor and the Art of Making Mistakes.' It will take place at the Austin Convention Center March 15. He's also part of Dave Grohl's Sound City Players show taking place at Stubb's in Austin the night before (Mar. 14).
