For those of you old enough, this is certain to dredge up some memories. For those of you not, enjoy what some of today’s rockers brought to the stage in revisiting the past during the “Strange ’80s” benefit concert in Los Angeles Sunday night (May 14).

The event featured a wide array of musicians, celebrities and comedians taking the stage performing ’80s covers all to raise funds for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which aids career musicians and music industry vets in need due to illness or disability. The event, which took place at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, was hosted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, who also performed during the show. Among the cast of musicians at the event were Corey Taylor, Tenacious D, Anthrax‘s Scott Ian and his wife Pearl Aday, Goldfinger frontman and noted producer John Feldmann, Velvet Revolver‘s Dave Kushner, Steel Panther‘s Michael Starr, Anberlin’s Stephen Christian, Deap Vally, Taking Back Sunday‘s Adam Lazzara and John Nolan, Weird Al Yankovic, Jinxx of Black Veil Brides and more.

Taylor, who has been known to really explore a wide variety of covers during his solo shows, took on a pair of Prince tracks — “Let’s Go Crazy” and “1999” — along with Judas Priest‘s “Electric Eye” during his appearance. Taylor traded vocals with Aday, while Ian was among the musicians backing them on guitar. Watch fan-shot footage above and below.

Meanwhile, Tenacious D performed the theme from TV’s The Jeffersons with the help of comedienne Sarah Silverman, and then dedicated REO Speedwagon’s “Keep On Loving You” to her as well. Watch footage below.
