Although Corrosion of Conformity’s new self-titled disc doesn’t drop until Feb. 28, the band surprised fans today with a very special gift, offering up a stream of the disc in its entirety, a week in advance.

After reuniting their ‘Animosity’-era line up in May of 2010 (Mike Dean on vocals/bass, Woody Weatherman on guitar and Reed Mullin on drums/vocals), the band inked a new deal with Candleight Records and got to work on their eighth studio album.

The 11 track offering was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Northridge, Calif., and was produced by the band with help from John Custer. John Lousteau, who has worked with the Foo Fighters in the past, was tapped to mix the new disc. It also features the artwork of Seldon Hunt.

The new album is just the beginning of what CoC have in store this year. Shortly after the release date they’ll kick off a headlining tour that kicks off on March 1 at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. The tour will take them through 16 U.S. cities including Austin’s famed SXSW Music Conference. The trio will be joined on the road by Torche, Valient Thorr and A Storm of Light. Check out all the dates here.
