We’ll trade you one Courtney Love straight up for a Vince Neil – is it a deal?

That’s the situation revelers faced Tuesday, when the Hole frontwoman showed up at New York modelling agency One Management's Fashion Week party in place of the Motley Crue singer, the evening’s scheduled entertainment. Apparently Neil fell ill, lost his voice and was unable to perform.

You know something’s not right when the notoriously erratic Love is your go-to girl, but she is close and personal friends with One M founder and president Scott Lipps, so it makes sense she was called in as reinforcement at the last minute. In fact Lipps, who used to drum in the Los Angeles band glam band Black Cherry, ended up backing Love on the kit.

“Scott is surprisingly a s---kicking drummer,” she told Page Six.

Love used the opportunity onstage to dedicate her tune ‘Skinny Little Bitch’ to Frances Bean Cobain, her estranged 19-year-old daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

"[She's] my f---ing only child," said Love, adding, "I'm so glad she didn't get that nose job."
