In addition to being Escape the Fate‘s lead singer, Craig Mabbitt is a diehard viewer of ‘The Walking Dead.’ For Season 4 of the hit AMC show, Mabbitt has signed on to write an exclusive recap of each episode for Loudwire. Check out his rundown of Episode 14 below:

So instead of completely recapping I just wanna point out some major points of this episode. Mainly the way the world has changed the mind of a young girl to the point that she thought the "walkers" were people, living people that did not want to hurt anyone.

Knowing that her mind was that fragile, I wonder what this means for Carl's future? Or what about Judith? We are only about a third of the way into the comics and whether you have read them or not, the show has changed a lot, and I like that. It always keeps you guessing.

This week I could've sworn a main character was gonna perish, instead it was Lizzie and Mika. There's no reason why Mika should have been killed but Lizzie fell off the rocker. And I'm sad to say it, hate if you will, but Lizzie's character was becoming very annoying to me anyway, starting with her almost suffocating Judith this season. I was like "girl's gotsta go, she's gotsta goooooo!"

So, anyway, that's what the episode pretty much was. They stopped at some random damn house instead of pressing onward to Terminus. Lizzie lost her marbles and killed Mika to prove that she'd "come back" and Carol pulled an 'Of Mice and Men' on Lizzie telling her to just "look at the flowers" and shot her. Now, Carol, Tyreese and Judith are headed to Terminus.

With only three episodes left I was hoping for a bit more of an exciting episode. I felt as if there was not enough character build for Lizzie and Mika for me to really be affected by their deaths.

Here's to next week! Always a surprise so maybe the canon is loaded with s--t and aimed at the fan for these next two episodes!

Our thanks to Craig Mabbitt for his recap of the latest episode of ‘The Walking Dead.’ Please note that Craig’s opinions do not necessarily reflect those of Loudwire.
