Deftones, ‘Leathers’ – Best 2012 Rock Songs

Deftones are set to release one of the year's most anticipated albums, 'Koi No Yokan,' on Nov. 13. The band have tossed around many different styles since their beginnings, leaving fans to anxiously question what they should expect from the experimental group. If any doubts existed about 'Koi No Yokan,' the album's first unveiled track, 'Leathers,' stomped it all out.

'Leathers' sounds like it could have come out of the iconic 'White Pony' album. Without sounding the least bit stale or contrived, Deftones created a heavy and experimental track with 'Leathers,' with the band's trademark atmosphere hovering above it all.
