David Draiman and his new band Device are riding high with their first single 'Vilify,' which currently sits atop the Active Rock airplay chart. Now, the group has teamed up with Loudwire to offer the exclusive premiere of the Philip Steir remix of the hit song (listen below).

When Draiman first announced Device, he mentioned that the band would be highly influenced by industrial music, and this Philip Steir remix of 'Vilify' ups the industrial ante with some heavy electronic sounds reminiscent of early Nine Inch Nails and bands like Front 242 and KMFDM.

Philip Steir is the drummer for the band Consolidated and has remixed tunes for Moby, No Doubt and New Order in the past. His reworking of 'Vilify' is a stellar mix that can easily take the song from the rock stage to the dance club.

As for Device, the band will be hitting the road this summer on the Megadeth-headlined Gigantour 2013, which also features Black Label Society, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division. The trek kicks off July 3 in Gilford, N.H., and runs through an Aug. 11 show in Toronto.

Device's self-titled debut album is available at iTunes. Check out the Philip Steir remix of 'Vilify' below:
