Former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan may just be one of rock's classic over-achievers. When he's not starring on the reality TV show 'Married to Rock' with his wife Susan, or writing one of his columns for Seattle Weekly or ESPN he can usually be found touring with his band Loaded, where he fills the triple role of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist alongside bandmates Jeff Rouse on bass, guitarist Mike Squires, and Isaac Carpenter on drums.

Duff McKagan's Loaded released their third studio album 'The Taking' in April, and the band will soon go into production for the feature film of the same name. The film promises a series of vignettes that will take music fans through each song on the record. Noted filmmaker and documentarian Jamie Burton Chamberlin is leading the charge and calls the film a modern day 'Hard Day’s Night' meets 'Song Remains the Same.'

Along with the vignettes the film will feature several cameo appearances from McKagan's contemporaries including Soundgarden's Ben Shepherd and Kim Thayil and Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister.

No release date for the film has been set yet but for a taste of what's in store check out a clip of 'Executioner’s Song’ shot during the band's recent European tour below.
