Last week you may have seen a thrash-tastic viral video of an eight-year-old girl named Juliet roaring through 'My First Hardcore Song.' Well this week, this tiny shredder Zoe may just take Juliet's place as the newest star in the business.

If there was ever a modern example of the word 'prodigy,' guitarist Zoe Thomson fits the mold. At only 8 years old, Zoe already shreds like a seasoned pro; making her craft look easy while soaring above the song's rhythm section.

Zoe is one of the guitarists in the famous 'Mini Band.' Ranging from ages 8-11, the group became online phenomenons with their live performances of Gun's N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' and Metallica's 'Enter Sandman.' In fact, Metallica were so impressed by the Mini Band's cover, the metal legends recorded their own reaction video encouraging the pre-teen act to keep on rocking.

Other covers the Mini Band regularly play include Muse's 'Knight of Cydonia,' Lenny Kravitz hit 'Fly Away' and Red Hot Chili Peppers track 'Dani California.'

The Mini Band recently began composing their own songs, with the video below boasting a blistering neoclassical performance by little Zoe. The work in progress, 'Stratosphere' is played with nearly perfect precision by the British axe-master - showcasing her talents across the entire neck of her full-sized guitar.
