Symphonic power metal stalwarts Epica will be releasing their seventh studio album this year, entitled The Holographic Principle. In support of the record, Epica will embark on a monthlong headlining tour across North America, backed by Italian symphonic death metal maestros Fleshgod Apocalypse, Russia's premiere pagan / folk metal outfit Arkona and Canadian metalcore veterans the Agonist.

The 'North American Principle' tour will kick off in Quebec City, Quebec on Nov. 4 where Germany's Xandria will replace Arkona for three nights. The Russian outfit will assume their slot on the bill on Nov. 8 in Chicago where the tour will then head back north, into Canada and back down the West Coast of the U.S. before venturing east, closing out the run in Worcester, Mass. on Dec. 3.

Frontwoman Simone Simmons commented on the tour, stating, "The time has finally come to visit North America again. We are super excited to show you guys our kick-ass new material of which we are extremely proud! We hope to welcome you all to experience The Holographic Principle extravaganza!"

General admission tickets will be on sale Wednesday, June 29 at 10AM local time. VIP and meet and greet bundles will also be available here, including a ticket to the show, meet and greet photo opportunity with all the band members, separate singing cards of all six band members, laminate and lanyard, limited edition seven inch vinyl with a previously unreleased song, an exclusive VIP only tour shirt, early access to the venue as well as a digital download of The Holographic Principle.

Fleshgod Apocalypse will be promoting this year's stellar release, King, with Arkona out in support of 2014's Yav and the Agonist will be touting last year's Eye of Providence. Epica will be releasing The Holographic Principle on Sept. 30 through Nuclear Blast.
