Evanescence beat out Lacuna Coil in the previous Cage Match but will they be able to do it again against today’s melodic metalers?
Dutch symphonic metal band Epica take the Cage Match by storm with their single ‘Storm the Sorrow’ off of their latest album ‘Requiem for the Indifferent.’ The band is also gearing up for a few shows in Europe this summer and then a headlining tour in North America with support from Alestorm, Insomnium, System Divide and Destiny Potato. There are no rules … except this one: If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
