Evanescence Unveil Video for ‘What You Want’

Evanescence have just released a video of their new single ‘What You Want’ off of their highly anticipated self-titled album, due Oct. 11.

Apparently what Evanescence wanted to do was rock the Big Apple for their latest video. It begins with the band performing in what looks like a tiny warehouse in Brooklyn for about 200 lucky fans.

There are many beautiful scenes of New York City throughout the video, including high angle external shots of the city. The night landscape of the city adds a dramatic effect that is fitting for the song.

Some stunning scenes in the video include frontwoman Amy Lee elegantly running through city streets, a lonely subway station and across the Brooklyn Bridge. In the video, Lee takes a leap off of the Brooklyn Bridge and gracefully lands on her feet like the heroic songstress she is.

The video ends with the entire band coming together at Coney Island in Brooklyn as they collectively standing in the sea. Check out the full clip below.
