British music magazine Kerrang! has just announced the list of nominees for their 2012 Kerrang! Awards. Among the most nominated acts for the annual awards show are Black Veil Brides, Falling in Reverse, You Me at Six and Mastodon.

Falling in Reverse are nominated for Best International Newcomer as well as Best Single and Best Video for ‘The Drug in Me is You.’ Strangely enough, Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has been nominated for both Hero of the Year AND Villain of the Year. Although we would love for Radke to win both awards for the utter hilarity of it all, he’s got some pretty fierce competition with Justin Bieber, Simon Cowell, One Direction and Lou Reed also nominated for the Best Villain award.

Black Veil Brides nabbed three nods at this year’s award show — Best Single for ‘Rebel Love Song,’ Best Album for ‘Set the World on Fire’ and Best Live Band alongside You Me at Six, Asking Alexandria, Enter Shikari and My Chemical Romance. Call us picky, but shouldn’t Iron Maiden be nominated for Best Live Band? Maybe throw a nod to Tool, Judas Priest or GWAR?

Other bands nominated for the 2012 Kerrang! Awards include Mastodon for Best Album and Best Video, Evanescence for Best International Band and Iron Maiden for Best British Band.

Check out the full list of nominees at Kerrang.com and vote for who you think deserves to walk out with a golden K.
