On April 27, 1988, Queensryche issued one of their most ambitious albums to date and 'Operation: Mindcrime' has stood the test of time to become arguably their most beloved work. Our Readers Poll asks you to tell us which song off of the album was your favorite.

This platinum-selling concept record followed the tale of a fortune hunter becoming disillusioned with the world around him and eventually joining a shadowy plot to assassinate the corrupt leaders making the decisions. The combination of Geoff Tate's powerful vocals and Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton's dual guitar work really set the tone as the story unfolded. And the rhythmic beats of Scott Rockenfield's drumming and Eddie Jackson's bass work just drove the songs home.

'Operation: Mindcrime' did produce a couple of singles, with 'Eyes of a Stranger' and 'I Don't Believe in Love' earning some spins. The latter track even earned Queensryche a Best Metal Performance Grammy nomination in 1990. And the continued demand for 'Operation: Mindcrime' has led to full album performances and even the creation of 'Operation: Mindcrime II' by the band in 2006.
