System of a Down are currently headlining the Australian Soundwave Festival tour. The hard-rock heavyweights reunited in late 2010 and announced that they would play select dates around the world.

Drummer John Dolmayan revealed at the 2011 Rock in Rio Festival that a new System album is going to happen, but didn't go into detail. “For the people who are waiting for an album — I know there’s a lot of people waiting for an album; I’m waiting for an album just like they are. It’s going to happen when it’s right and when we can make something that tops what we’ve done in the past.”

Although the band has continued to play live shows together, Dolmayan and System guitarist Daron Malakian are working on a new album by their other outfit Scars on Broadway, while vocalist Serj Tankian has kept his solo career going.

Since the reunion announcement, fans have been relentlessly calling for a new System of a Down album. In fact, we're so desperate for a new album that we've made this poll just so we can write about the band! So what's your favorite System of a Down album? Let us know in the poll below.
