We recently reported that the Shockwave tour featuring Fear Factory had been canceled, but the band has now announced some dates for a headlining summer tour in August.

In a press release, guitarist Dino Cazares says, “We are really looking forward to getting back on tour to play classic Fear Factory songs and new songs from The Industrialist!”

The forthcoming tour will mark Fear Factory’s first trek in support of their new album ‘The Industrialist.’ The record is the second one written Cazares and frontman Burton C. Bell since they reunited in 2009 after a seven year break.

The band’s August tour kicks off on Aug. 1 in Fresno, Calif., and wraps up on Aug. 19 in Amityville, N.Y. Other notable stops include San Juan, Puerto Rico, and their stop in Illinois for the Gathering of the Juggalos 2012,which also feature Static-X, P.O.D., Insane Clown Posse, Soulfly and many others.
