Filter have embarked on their 'Make America Hate Again' spring trek, and with a tour name like that, you know frontman Richard Patrick has some strong opinions on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Patrick stopped by our studio recently to discuss the band's new album, Crazy Eyes, and, of course, we had to ask him about the tour name and his feelings on Trump. "I think he's behaving like a 4-year-old child," Patrick told us in the video interview above.

The Filter frontman goes on to say, "I just find it incredibly frustrating to watch this guy captivate people like a Jerry Springer. Presidents are eloquent, they're Abraham Lincoln ... It seems like [Trump] is putting up this rhetoric and this hate and picking on people that are not the problem."

See what else Patrick has to say about Trump's policies and his hair in the video above. Filter's 'Make America Hate Again' tour continues through late May. See a full list of dates here, and pick up the band's Crazy Eyes album here.
