There's a lot nostalgia going on for Avenged Sevenfold fans at the moment with the release of the band's 'Waking the Fallen: Resurrected' reissue, celebrating 10-plus years of the album that put them on the path to future stardom. One of the nuggets that's part of the 'Resurrected' reissue is the original first-cut edition of the 'Unholy Confessions' video, which was just posted online by Hopeless Records.

The video shows just how far the band has come in just a very short time, as it doesn't have quite the production value that some of their glitzier clips have these days. But what it does have is a solid look at the band in their rawest form, as the clip is essentially a performance piece.

Shot using ghostly white lighting in a dimly lit room, the video finds the band rocking out 'Unholy Confessions,' with the spotlight primarily on frontman M. Shadows and the band's late drummer, Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. The latter lays down the beats that seem to drive the song.
