First off, congrats to Asking Alexandria, who completed a Cage Match Hall of Fame run with "I Won't Give In" just before the holiday break. With the song now being retired, it's time to get two new contenders into the Cage Match.

In one corner, you have Five Finger Death Punch and their rocking current single "Wash It All Away." The heavy hitter finds frontman Ivan Moody asking for someone to wash away many of the ills with today's society. The song has become a live favorite and you can find the band playing it during their first shows of 2016, which can be found here.

In another corner, you'll find Shinedown and their latest single, "State of My Head." The catchy rocker finds Brent Smith rhythmically rocking around drummer Barry Kerch's stomp rock beat as it builds in intensity. Shinedown will likely include the song in sets when they return to the stage next year, but in the interim, look for Smith and Myers playing acoustic dates in December.

So turn it up and test 'em out! Listen to both Five Finger Death Punch's "Wash It All Away" and Shinedown's "State of My Head" in the players below and then tell us who you want to advance by voting in the poll provided.

(This Cage Match will run until Dec. 7 at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
