With nearly 20 years having passed since the first incarnation of Slipknot formed, it's easy to forget how crazy the band members actually were. Slipknot still put on one of the most intense live performances you'll ever see, but it was even more chaotic during the touring cycle for their 1999 self-titled album.

While performing the song 'Scissors,' it was commonplace for percussionist / vocalist Chris Fehn to bash a flaming beer keg. Furthermore, percussionist / vocalist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan and DJ Sid Wilson would play with lighter fluid, lighting themselves (and other band members) on fire.

In this clip, Sid Wilson first lights himself on fire, swaying his incendiary arm back and forth without a care in the world. Clown goes on to light his left arm on fire, but once Clown finally puts out his left arm, he notices that his right arm is on fire, courtesy of Wilson. The DJ also sets vocalist Corey Taylor's right leg on fire, which stays lit for a full 13 seconds. In later interviews, Taylor would share he's tattooed over extensive burns on his leg suffered from multiple encounters with fire.
