Nearly two decades into it and the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival is still on the upswing! Entering its 18th year, the festival has been extended to two locations due to overwhelming popularity. In addition to the Las Vegas installment, the lineup will venture to the East Coast to perform at the legendary Asbury Park in New Jersey.

The lineup will consist of some of the biggest and best bands punk rock has to offer. With more announcements on the way, the bands that have been confirmed so far are Flogging Molly, Descendents, Cock Sparrer, Flag (original members Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Bill Stevenson, Dez Cadena with Stephen Egerton performing the music of Black Flag), the Exploited, Dag Nasty, Subhumans, Dillinger Four, Anti-Nowhere League, Youth Brigade, the Dwarves and more. No specifics are available yet, but it should be noted that not all bands will be playing both cities.

The festival's co-founder Mark Stern is excited, commenting on this year's plans, "Not only are we are excited to bring Punk Rock Bowling back to downtown Las Vegas, but to finally bring our festival to Asbury Park, is a dream we’ve been talking about for years. What better place on the East Coast is there for our fans who have wanted to experience our world of bowling, punk rock, and a gathering of our closest friends. Throw in an ocean view and the infamous Asbury Park Boardwalk and I think you’ve got yourself a great weekend."

The Asbury Park edition will be held second from June 10 - 12 while Las Vegas will see the festival roll into town two weeks prior from May 26 - 30.

Adding to his excitement, he went on, "And for those of you who will be coming to Las Vegas, we cannot wait to see you for a weekend of mayhem, bowling, poker, pool parties, late night club shows and of course the best punk rock festival in North America. Punk Rock music is a way of life, it’s the unwanted step child, it’s a community unlike any other and this event is a celebration of its existence as one of the most influential forms of music in the past 40 years."

Last year's lineup featured heavyweights Rancid, Dropkick Murphys and Refused among others.

No tickets are available yet, but keep an eye on the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival website for details on both events.
