Foo Fighters have already teased a return to the stage in 2015 by announcing special shows in Chicago at Wrigley Field and Washington, D.C. at RFK Stadium, but that's just the beginning of their touring.

The band just announced a major North American run that will keep them touring from July into October next year. The trek officially kicks off with that previously mentioned 4th of July bash at Washington, D.C.'s RFK Stadium, with the trek currently winding down on Oct. 7 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

It should be noted that there are several noticeable gaps in the schedule which could either leave the band some solid breaks or allow for the possibility of more shows to be added later. It's also notable that the trek includes the addition of several stadiums, allowing for some of the biggest audiences of their career.

Royal Blood will provide support on a number of the upcoming dates, while Mission of Burma have been added to open a Boston Fenway Park show. Those are designated in the tour dates listed below.

The fan-friendly Foos are also looking out for their fans, announcing a "Beat the Bots: Box Office Only Pre-Sale" that will happen this Saturday (Nov. 22) at 10AM. The pre-sale is designed to beat the Scalper Bots that have been programmed to clog the online sales queues and snatch up blocks of tickets that are typically resold at a higher price. For more information on the special in-person pre-sales, visit the Foo Fighters website for a listing of box office locations and details.

Meanwhile, online pre-sales will begin on Monday, Dec. 1, with the general on-sales following Dec. 4 and 5 depending on the market.
