Foo Fighters will help put the rock in 30 Rock on the 37th season finale of 'Saturday Night Live,' when they back up legendary Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger for a performance on May 19.

The Foos are no strangers to jamming with classic rock royalty. Brian May and Jimmy Page have joined the band onstage in the past and recently Foo Fighters performed 'In the Flesh' with Pink Floyd's Roger Waters on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.'

Now, it has been revealed that the Grammy-winning rockers will return to the small screen, joining Mick Jagger for his appearance as host and musical guest and on the season finale of 'Saturday Night Live.' According to Entertainment Weekly, the Rolling Stones singer will be joined by the Foos as well as avant garde alt-rock outfit Arcade Fire.

All told, Dave Grohl has appeared on 'SNL' 11 times with the bands Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
