We're moving on to the quarterfinals of the Rocktober Rumble as we attempt to crown the best hard rock hit of the 21st Century.

Foo Fighters' "Best of You" advanced, as they bested Red Hot Chili Peppers' "By the Way" in a hard fought victory. That followed their first round victory over Nine Inch Nails' "The Hand That Feeds." Back in 2005, "Best of You" topped the rock charts for four weeks and the song has long been a staple of their live shows. Take a listen in the player below.

Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" went right down to the wire to secure a second round victory over Thirty Seconds to Mars' "The Kill (Bury Me)." That came after their first round victory over Rise Against's "Ready to Fall." This 2004 chart-topper spent 14 weeks at No. 1 and won the GRAMMY for Record of the Year. Revisit the classic in the player provided.
