After recent comments from Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst about the band’s current status in the U.S., the idea of a tour seemed like a fleeting one. Durst referred to his band as “a moment in time” saying it was “over” but a new tweet from the frontman seems to suggest something different.

Late last night (Aug. 31) Durst took to his Twitter account posting the photo seen here, saying, “US Tour is coming to life.” It shows what appears to be Durst flashing devil horns and wearing a bear mask.

The day before Durst tweeted the question, “Who would YOU like to see open for Limp Bizkit on our US tour?” All signs pointing to a change of heart for Durst and Limp Bizkit but fans can draw their own conclusions.

There has been a lot of speculation that if Limp Bizkit did tour the States that guitarist Wes Borland’s band Black Lights Burns would hold the opening slot, but nothing has been confirmed at this point.

Limp Bizkit has been working on their latest disc ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ and according to Durst the writing process has them creating songs with everything from an urban feel to rock tracks.

No release date has been offered up at this time and Wes Borland told Loudwire in a recent interview that there is “no release date in sight whatsoever.”

Limp Bizkit has not toured the U.S. since 2006.
