We've said it before, we'll say it again -- we love ourselves some Goatwhore. The New Orleans blackened death metallers will release their sixth studio album, 'Constricting Rage of the Merciless,' on July 8, but you can hear the new track 'Schadenfreude' right now exclusively on Loudwire!

Still going strong off their fifth full-length, 'Blood for the Master,' Goatwhore did what they do best -- tour, tour, tour. Goatwhore is one of the hardest-working road acts, and they don't skimp when heading into the studio either. Goatwhore already released a lyric video for 'FBS,' so we've got the official premiere of the second single from 'Constricting Rage of the Merciless.'

'Schadenfreude' is a classic take-no-prisoners, leave-no-survivors type of Goatwhore track. The band's black metal influence is at the forefront of 'Schadenfreude,' as guitarist Sammy Duet builds a dark atmosphere with his open chords and sinister progressions, while vocalist Ben Falgoust explores his full guttural range throughout the track.

For 'Constricting Rage of the Merciless,' Goatwhore recruited the masterful Erik Rutan to man the board. “If we went to someone else, it would be a total disaster,” Duet tells Decibel Magazine (June 2014 issue) about working with Rutan. “He understands what we want out of an album instead of coming away with something that shiny, polished, sterile, digitally manipulated and completely fake and false.”
