The word "brutal" can be overused in death metal, but we mean it with the utmost sincerity when saying, "Get ready for one completely brutal tour this June!" That's because Canadian atonal death merchants Gorguts will be bringing German tech brutes Defeated Sanity along with them as well as the progressive death metal outfit Exist!

Gorguts will be out promoting their latest release, the sprawling journey of the single-track, 33-minute EP, Pleiades' Dust, which was released last year. The trek will launch from Cleveland, Ohio on June 6, sticking to the Midwest, departing Houston, Texas on June 15 for a series of four East Coast dates, closing out in Boston on June 24. See the full routing below.

Defeated Sanity are touring on the back of two EPs released together as a full length effort. Disposal of the Dead / Dharmata represents one of the more peculiar releases in metal's history. The band opted to stick to their crushing standard of brutal death metal on one release while exploring a more progressive, technical side in vein of acts like Pestilence on the other side, even employing two different vocalists to man each EP.

Max Phelps (ex-Cynic) will be pulling double duty as Defeated Sanity's vocalist as well as the guitarist / vocalist for Exist, who released their debut album, Sunlight, in 2014.
