We're into Round 2 of our Greatest Metal Frontman competition. Thanks to nearly a million votes cast by all of you, the fans, the field has narrowed down from 32 candidates to 16.

This is easily the most difficult second round of match-ups we've had in our entire series of Greatest Metal musician polls. The most iconic old and new-school frontmen are up for a grab at the crown, but who will you bring to our quarterfinals? We've got to cut half of the current contenders yet again, leaving us with a total of eight proceeding into the next stage.
