Montrose founded the legendary band of the same name with Sammy Hagar in the early 70s, launching their careers to a whole new level. Several rockers have already reacted on Twitter expressing their sadness and gratitude to Ronnie Montrose and the music he created. Among those expressing their condolences are Slash, Nikki Sixx and Megadeth's Dave Ellefson who played with Montrose for a few years.
