In an exclusive interview with Q103 in Albany, N.Y., frontwoman Lzzy Hale of Halestorm talks all about the band's upcoming and highly anticipated new album.

Hale not only has a column in Revolver, but she also made the magazine's 2011 list of the Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock. “It was very cool and I’m on the calendar, too, which makes my grandmother extremely proud,” she says.

When asked about the band's new album Hale responded by saying, “Actually we just finished it, it’s getting mixed this week; man, every time we make a record it’s just a crazy process because you get so into it, you don’t really figure out how everything is suppose go together or come together until right smack dab in the middle of it and then it all makes sense.”

She continues by saying, “I ended up writing some of the most personal songs I’ve ever written and the label heard them and was like, 'Oh my God, we didn’t know this about you, can you please do more,' so the floodgates opened."

As far as when Halestorm fans will get a taste of the new music, Hale states, “You should be getting a single from us in February.”
