With Vicious, Halestorm promised they'd hone in on more of their rock foundation that they had on their past record, Into the Wild Life. We've heard "Uncomfortable" and "Black Vultures" so far and now the band has issued another cut, "Do Not Disturb," (heard below) which may not sound like super-charged rock 'n' roll, but the carnal themes do.

"Do Not Disturb" is a sultry ode to nighttime pleasures that are often a byproduct of life on the road. Here, Lzzy Hale sings of the appeal of a one-off, top-floor thrashing in the sheets hours before having to leave on a plane. "If I were you, I'd bring your girlfriend too / Two is better than one / Three is better than two," says the chorus before noting the significance of a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.

On the debut Vicious single, Hale proposed, "And I know you don't like it when open up and talk about sex" and little did we know it would foreshadow a future track. Musically, "Do Not Disturb" builds to a climax with a plodding tempo, minimalist instrumentation and rigid rhythmic tension.

Vicious is set for a July 27 release through Atlantic Records and you can pre-order the album here. The release date will also mark the launch of Halestorm's co-headlining tour with In This Moment and support from New Years Day and Stitched Up Heart. Both openers will be featured on select dates, so check listings carefully.
