Looking for a 2014 breakout candidate? Heartist certainly qualify, as the band will soon release their 'Feeding Fiction' album. Even better, Loudwire has teamed up with the band to offer an exclusive early stream of the disc (listen below) in advance of its Aug. 12 release.

Frontman Bryce Beckley tells Loudwire, “We’re thrilled to finally be streaming our debut record ‘Feeding Fiction’. The process of creating this album was long, emotionally taxing, beautiful and frightening … I'm so proud of what we created together.”

The David Bendeth-produced release arrives on Aug. 12 through Roadrunner Records, but you can take a listen to the disc in full in the player provided below. It features the recent single 'Pressure Point,' a hard-hitting song with Matt Marquez pounding away behind the kit while Beckley's vocals lead the way. A video for the track can be found here.

Other standouts include the anthemic 'Black Could,' which showcases Beckley's ability to pull off melodic and aggressive vocals within the same track. 'Skeletons' provides some frenetic guitar work courtesy of Tim Koch and Robby DeVito, while 'Ignite' is one of the album's true anthems. The five piece of Beckley, Marquez, Koch, DeVito and bassist Evan Ranello succeed in delivering a solid blend of anthems, heavy rockers and melodic radio-radio fare on 'Feeding Friction.'

“We started this band because we looked around and everything seemed stagnant, everyone just seemed to be doing the same thing, and I haven’t heard a song on the radio that’s really touched my soul in what seems like forever,” states Beckley. “We want people to hear us and go wow, holy s--t, that’s what’s been missing.”

If you like what you hear, you can order Hearist's 'Pressure Point' via iTunes or in a variety of bundle options here. And be sure to look for the band on tour at the following locations.
