California metal act High on Fire rocked a packed show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, N.Y., as part of the Converse Rubber Tracks Live series.

Frontman Matt Pike spewed out ‘Fury Whip’ to kick things off for the eager crowd. With more than 15 years of music under their belts, High on Fire know how to get things going as sweaty bodies moshed like crazy during the show. The band cranked out songs like ‘Devilution,’‘Frost Hammer,’ ‘Rumors of War,’ as well as newer tunes like ‘Fertile Green’ and ‘Serums of Laio’ off their 2012 release ‘De Vermis Mysteriis.’

While fans wait for new material, they’re surely happy with High On Fire playing the older stuff, as well. The band ended their crushing set with ‘Fireface’ and ‘Snakes for the Divine.’

Brooklyn band Blackest kicked off the night with a very energetic set. Their pummeling hardcore metal style got the blood pumping early on.
