It’s a lot of laughs, a lot of beers and a whole lot of fun when Hollywood Undead come to town. They kicked off this week with a show at Irving Plaza in New York City that was so entertaining we forgot it was a Monday night.

Everyone belted out the infamous lyrics “Undead! / You better get up out the way / Tomorrow we’ll rise so let’s fight today / You know, I don’t give a f— what you think or say / ‘Cause we’ll rock this whole place anyway” at the start of the band’s headlining set. Hollywood Undead did in fact rock the whole place.

To see Hollywood Undead live is to experience nonstop energy. Not one of the band’s six members are ever standing still during songs and neither were their fans. The crowd bounced throughout the 15-song set, which covered their four albums all across the board. The band is currently on tour to support their latest release ‘Notes From the Underground’ and ended their set with the disc’s lead single ‘We Are.’

Fellow West Coast outfit Escape the Fate put on a killer show as the smell of weed filled the venue. Fans exploded and crowd surfers swam towards the stage when the band tore into one of their latest tracks ‘Ungrateful,’ not to mention a circle pit broke out during ‘Fire It Up.’

From start to finish, Escape the Fate’s force never let up. Frontman Craig Mabbitt not only showed off some serious vocal abilities and but he proved that he had some serious guts as he leapt off the balcony and into the crowd towards the end of the performance.

3 Pill Morning looked dapper in their white shirts and black ties but their sharp style didn’t stop them from getting sweaty. The Minnesota rock band are currently on tour in support of their latest record ‘Black Tie Love Affair’ and from the crowd’s response, a lot of New York fans have a love affair with 3 Pill Morning.

All Hail the Yeti kicked off the night with a stellar performance. The band is visually and sonically entertaining live and served as a great opening act.
