Get ready to feel the earth move! That’s because melodic metallers In Flames will be taking out extreme metal vets Kataklysm for dates this coming May.

In Flames are currently in the midst of promoting their Battles album, with stateside festival appearances on the horizon at Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock to finish up April. The festival dates will prove to be a springboard for a larger trek throughout the month of May with Kataklysm.

The Canadian rockers, who won a Juno for for the Heavy Metal Album of the Year with their 2015 album Of Ghosts and Gods, are currently wrapping up support for the disc. Kataklysm singer Maurizio Iacono says, “What better way to complete such an incredible and successful campaign for our latest record Of Ghosts and Gods, than being invited by In Flames to do a string of dates in the States with them! We are excited to return to the U.S. for a short run with In Flames, coupled with a few headlining gigs and close off another chapter of our story. Right before this we will be hitting Latin America for a tour and visiting countries we have never played before such as Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and more. We look forward to these last two tours in support of the Ghosts… album. Catch us live and don’t miss the destructive power!”

The tour gets underway May 4 at Anthology in Rochester, N.Y. The bands will then spend the next three weeks primarily playing dates in the Midwest and along the East Coast before wrapping up on May 25 in Dallas, Texas. See the full slew of dates below.
