Iron Maiden have begun a run through 1980, as their song 'Phantom of the Opera' just concluded its second straight Classic Cage Match victory. The song, which came from the band's self-titled debut disc while Paul Di'Anno was still their frontman, bested the Ronnie James Dio-led Black Sabbath and their 1980 single 'Heaven and Hell.'

This week Iron Maiden squares off against another 1980 classic -- Diamond Head's 'Am I Evil?' The highly influential song, with its march-like guitar and drum work, has been covered by Metallica and has long been a favorite in metal circles. Like Maiden, Diamond Head were just getting their start in 1980. 'Am I Evil?' is featured on their debut disc 'Lightning to the Nations.'

Check out both songs and tell us whether you think Iron Maiden's 'Phantom of the Opera' or Diamond Head's 'Am I Evil?' deserves to advance in this new Classic Cage Match. Vote in the poll below.
