Iron Maiden vs. Dio – Metal Madness 2017, Championship Round – Vote Now!

It's the Championship Round of the 2017 Metal Madness tournament where your votes decide the Best Debut Metal Album of All Time and we've got one unbelievable matchup! It's Iron Maiden's self-titled debut up against Dio's classic Holy Diver!

In the Semifinals, we saw the tightest contest of the entire tournament as Maiden bested Black Sabbath by a tiny margin, taking exactly 51.25 percent of the votes. Their path to the final round included victories over Cynic, Disturbed and Slipknot.

Dio and Holy Diver cruised to this round in style, crushing Megadeth's Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good! with nearly 70 percent of the votes. Prior to landing in the Championship Round, the album had knocked off some of metal's most esteemed acts, including Motorhead, Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica!
