Islander vs. Starset – Cage Match

First off, congrats are in order for Halestorm, who completed their five-victory run with "Apocalyptic" in the Loudwire Cage Match and have now entered the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. The band defeated Stone Sour's "The Dark" for their final victory and will now clear the way for two fresh contenders in the Cage Match.

In one corner, you've got Islander and their atmospheric latest single "New Wave." The track ebbs and flows with aggression and is a worthy change of pace follow-up to their breakout single "Coconut Dracula." The song is also becoming a fan favorite as the group rocks it out on tour. See their current tour dates here.

In the other corner, you've got the mysterious outfit Starset. Leader Dustin Bates and his masked cohorts have been digging in at radio with their single "Carnivore." The building rocker has become a fine addition to the band's live set, and you can see them perform it at these stops.
