Five Finger Death Punch vocalist Ivan Moody has been a bit of a punching bag for criticism of late, but the singer had a few jabs of his own to get in during an appearance at the Metal Allegiance festival in Chester, Pa. As can be seen in the video above, Moody makes his thoughts known on Kanye West, then switches gears with some commentary on social media.

Moody came under scrutiny when TMZ reported that his wife was filing for divorce and had also levied domestic violence claims against the singer. It was later revealed by the band's management that Moody was not married to the woman in question and that she was not a credible source for information. Despite the denial, Moody has taken some heat online from those who choose to believe what they initially read.

During the appearance at Metal Allegiance, Moody addressed the crowd, first taking a shot at Kanye West. In the video above, the singer states, "Let's make one more statement, right now! F--k Kanye West. I f--kin' said it and I don't regret it." After leading the crowd in a "F--k Kanye West" chant, he went on to add, "I'm gonna hear about that tomorrow on Facebook, and I really don't give a s--t."

That segued into his discussion about social media, where he explained, "I know that social media has been eating me alive lately …. The f---ed up thing about the Internet is somebody can say something and it can be completely f--king untrue and you still get to see it, which usually means it's some 12-year-old kid in his grandmother's basement who has nothing to do but masturbate and pop pimples. So I want to thank you all for standing next to us and being Five Finger Death Punch fans."

Having just wrapped their North American tour with Papa Roach, In This Moment and From Ashes to New, Five Finger Death Punch will take a few weeks off before heading over to Europe for the beginning of a new tour leg. See where they're playing here.
