Jane's Addiction's video for the thunderous song Underground' has a cinematic and dramatic, graphic novel vibe, reminding us a bit of the visual spectacle of 'Sin City.' The band explores the seedy underbelly of life, traipsing to the underground, where you have to be a certain kind of person to survive. If you are not one of "those" types, you can certainly be a voyeur and live vicariously through this video.

It's shot in black and white, with some golden overlay and tones. Jane's Addiction play on, somewhat unaffected, like a house band amidst a panoply of circus-like freaks. There are Ouija board users, poker players, flamboyant dancers and hot, hot women in dressed in little more than fishnets, garter belts and heels. So the content certainly mimics the mysterious visual vibe of the clip.

'Underground' comes across as a short film and the cinematography is quite breathtaking.

But wait, there's more!

The uncensored version of the video is slated to premiere this Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 AM PT, on Playboy.com.
