Throughout 2016, guitarist John 5 (best known for his work with Rob Zombie) debuted four music videos for his John 5 and the Creatures project and now things are coming into sharper focus with a full length effort on the way. Season of the Witch will be released on March 3, the same day the group will be kicking off a U.S. tour.

The band is a trio consisting of John 5, bassist Ian Ross and drummer Rodger Carter and is an instrumental outfit with a diverse range of influences as evident by previously released songs like "Now Fear This" and "Here's to the Crazy Ones." Together, they explore rock and metal elements mixed in with funk, country western moments and, of course, John 5's more virtuosic abilities, especially while soloing.

The details surrounding the album remain vague as the previously released tracks were expected to be released on a physical CD titled Guitars, Tits and Monsters along with a documentary, but this has yet to come to light. A trailer for Season of the Witch is available below, providing fans with a sample of what's to come on the record.

As mentioned, John 5 and the Creatures will hit the road on March 3, embarking on a three week tour across that extends from the West Coast to Texas. The group will take a break before packing it back up and hitting the stage in Kentucky in mid-April for a small batch of dates that come to a close four days later in Chicago.
