Judas Priest recently revealed plans issue their new 'Epitaph' concert Blu-Ray / DVD and now they're able to tease the forthcoming release with a new trailer. In the clip, the band's members discuss exactly what the trek meant to them as well as teasing some of the cool things about the 'Epitaph' run.

Frontman Rob Halford explained, "It's been a very powerful, emotional experience," while revealing that because of the significance of the lengthy trek that they only played songs that each of the members truly wanted to play.

Guitarist Glenn Tipton adds, "It's the first time we've did a set with a song from every one of our 14 studio albums." Halford tacks on, "It's a great way to get pretty much a complete picture of what Judas Priest has been trying to do and represent in almost 40 years of metal, cause when you go from a song like 'Never Satisfied' all the way to 'Nostradamus' and everything in between, I think it just shows you the scope."

The band shot the performance at the legendary HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London, which was a great way to bring things back around to where a lot of it started for the band's members.

The 'Epitaph' concert Blu-Ray / DVD is due May 28 through Legacy Recordings. To watch the Judas Priest band members discuss the tour and see footage from the release, watch the trailer posted below.
