It's a good thing these two aren't literally fighting because the end result would probably look like your front porch the night before Halloween. Judas Priest roared back in 1990 with the blistering Painkiller album, highlighting their new mascot. On the other hand, Helloween's Jack O. Lantern has been a focal point of the band right from the get go.

The Painkiller is faster than a bullet, half man and half machine, and rides the metal monster. This definitely seems more pain inducing than pain killing, but the Pain-Inducer just doesn't have the same bite to it. Perhaps the most descriptive mascot in this tournament, the Painkiller could strike fear just with that name alone.

Helloween are a goofy bunch, always willing to have some fun with their high octane speed/power metal. This mascot may not be featured in full on every piece of artwork in the band's catalog, but he always has a place in the logo with that shifty grin. This grimaced pumpkin is one of the most visible among any metal mascot around. Can Jack O. Lantern be the one to stop the Painkiller?
