Kid Rock is throwing the mother of all parties in advance of his concerts at Comerica Park in his native Detroit on Friday and Staurday. The man formerly known as Bob Ritchie will host the Kid Rock Badass Beer Block Party before each show, which will include amenities like a 10-story Ferris wheel, games and his own Badass Beer.

Kid Rock is doing it carnie style, with karaoke sessions and a mechanical bull. Plenty of Rock's Badass Beer will be flowing, too. Pizza and taco vendors will also be on site to peddle their street wares, too.

The Badass Beer Block Party will be held just north of Comerica Park, reports the Detroit Free Press. It's the official destination for pre-show fun on Friday and Saturday. The block parties are free and open to the public. You don't even need a ticket to the Kid Rock show to enjoy the festivities, which begin at 2 PM on Friday and at noon on Saturday. How generous of Kid Rock, whose concerts on each night begin at 6:30 with opening acts that include Sammy Hagar.

All proceeds from the rides and games will benefit the Kid Rock Foundation, which is the singer's non-profit charity organization. He will also be selling merch from his Made in Detroit apparel line at the events.

There will also be giveways a plenty, such as two Badass Beer guitars and a pair of VIP tickets to each night's show. Tent parties and after parties are also planned.
