Kid Rock Announces First Annual Fish Fry in Nashville

It's becoming more frequent that acts are finding unique ways to reach out to their fans and break down some of the barriers between musician and listener. We've seen an influx of themed cruises, several acts have staged their own festivals and now Kid Rock is launching his first annual Fish Fry in Nashville, Tenn. this fall.

The two-day weekend takes place at Fontanel in Nashville on Oct. 9 and 10. Each day is expected to provide a cornucopia of activities including full sets by Kid Rock, performances by still-to-be-named special guests, plus a fish fry, fireworks, local food and drink, "good times and cheap wine," games of cornhole and all sorts of fun.

There are various VIP packages named after Kid Rock songs ("Roll On," "Born Free," "Livin Large") that give those attending unique experiences. The "Roll On" package grants you express entry onto the festival grounds 30 minutes prior to general admission, an exclusive "Roll On" merchandise gift, VIP parking, a dedicated on-site event concierge, access to air conditioned restrooms, a premium reserved ticket and you have the chance to add on Kid Rock's Pajama Party taking place at the Fontanel Mansion.

The "Born Free" package makes sure your ticket is in the first 10 rows, invites you to a pre-show pizza party hosted by Rock and featuring a performance from one of his favorite comedians, Chris Porter. The party also includes a wine tasting at the Natchez Hills Tasting Room. And you get a VIP laminate as well, along with many of the items from the "Roll On" package.

Meanwhile, the "Livin Large" package provides you with a private open-air suite to accommodate six guests and "at your seat" food and beverage service on top of the items from the other two packages.

And as for the aforementioned Kid Rock Pajama Party at Fontanel Mansion, it finds guests moving from the party outside to a late night indoor bash that includes an open bar, late night snacks, old movies, dancing, casino tables, games, custom Kid Rock pajamas and the best opportunity of the weekend to hang out and meet Kid Rock and take a group photo. Finishing out the night, there will also be a pancake breakfast before you leave.
