Killswitch Engage are getting ready to hit the studio to begin working on the follow-up to their 2009 self-titled album. The news comes form guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, who spilled the news via the band's Facebook page.

"YO! Its Adam D! We're about to begin writing our new record,' writes Dutkeiewicz. "Thanks to all of our fans for waiting so friggin' patiently ... now let's turn on the "riff faucet" and RAGE."

Dutkiewicz has been busy touring with former Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach for their project Times of Grace, who released a debut album 'Hymn of a Broken Man.' Check out our exclusive interview with Dutkiewicz, in which he talks about Times of Grace and Killswitch Engage.

According to Lithium Magazine, Dutkiewicz says that he may also be dabbling in another project, “a death metal side project with the drummer from Black Dahlia Murder and the singer from Cannibal Corpse.”

Meanwhile guitarist Joel Stroeltzel has also been touring with Times of Grace, while bassist Mike D’Antonio has been busy with his other metal band, Death Ray Vision.
