Kittie’s Tara McLeod Goes Acoustic with ‘Dexter’ Theme Song

Ama Lea, Entertainment One

Showtime’s smash hit ‘Dexter’ has grabbed hold of seemingly everyone, and all-female metal outfit Kittie are not exempt from the craze.

Kittie’s lead guitarist, Tara McLeod, recently uploaded this video of herself playing the ‘Dexter’ theme song.

It’s no surprise that metal bands would be drawn to the dark, edgy show starring a lovable serial killer. The song, already a creepy little number, sounds great set to the backdrop of only her acoustic guitar.

Kittie is gearing up to spend most of 2012 on the road in support of their latest release, ‘I’ve Failed You.’ Check out all out all of their tour dates here which span from Canada to Australia and back to the United States.
