Ready for another completely absurd mashup that none of us asked for? YouTuber William Maranci and his friend Rachel have a good one for you — Korn's "Freak on a Leash" and The Lion King's "Circle of Life."

Maranci hilariously refers to the song as "The Leash of Life" by The Lion Korn. It starts with the classic opening of The Lion King that we all know and love, and eventually frontman Jonathan Davis comes in creepily with "Something takes a part of me." The plot of the movie actually is pretty dark, as it's based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet, so it kind of makes sense. Kind of.

You know how you often want to turn off a mashup after the first chorus or so because you can't believe how ridiculous what you're listening to is? For some reason, this one makes us want to listen all the way through to see how things play out. Listen to "The Leash of Life" below, and then proceed to question your existence afterward.

Korn's latest album The Nothing came out Sept. 13. The band have a handful of scheduled festival performances for 2020 so far, including supporting Slipknot on their Knotfest in Japan in March. Get tickets here.
